There was a point in my life when my own thoughts felt so overwhelming that I didn’t want to be here anymore. My mind was constantly spiraling — replaying conversations, catastrophizing the future, and criticizing everything I did. I felt frozen, exhausted, and unable to focus or move forward. It was like I was living in the passenger seat of my own life while my mind took over the wheel.

After caring for mental health patients as a Psychiatric Nurse and Certified Life Coach for over a decade — and walking through my own healing journey — I learned something that changed everything: when the body doesn’t feel safe, the mind can’t settle.
